Sarah Palin Announced as McCain’s Running Mate

August 29, 2008

Sarah Palin, the governor of Alaska, was announced as John McCains running mate. This was a huge surprise since most pundits thought it would probably be either Mitt Romney or Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty.
I believe that McCain is going for a grab of the disenchanted Hillary supporters in the Democratic party. I think [...]

The NY Times is reporting that the US and Poland have made an agreement to place missile defense installations in Poland even after months of stalled negotiations. Needless to say, Russia wasn’t happy about the news.

Apparently the big Bigfoot news conference on Friday revealed very little. Fox News reports that the finders are assembling their own group of scientists to examine the body but have not made it available to the general public. Many are saying that it merely looks like a Sasquatch costume from TheHorrorDome.com

Russia Lies as it Refuses to Pullout

August 18, 2008

Russia, now has agreed to pullout in 2 different agreements but, if anything, they seem to be expanding. August 13, 2008

Nancy Pelosi may finally allow a vote on offshore drilling. Pelosi and House Democrats have been taking a lot of heat over their stonewalling of a bill that would allow offshore drilling in spite of the overwhelming public support. So it seems that she’s finally backing down but she’s not going to give [...]

Russia further entrenches itself in South Ossetia

August 13, 2008

Russia is pledging $400 Million to rebuild South Ossetia. On the surface this would appear that Russia is taking responsibility for its actions in Georgia but really it’s not. This just further entrenches Russia in the region. It’s increasing its goodwill among the people of South Ossentia who want to separate themselves [...]

Russia is Getting Really Scary

August 12, 2008

I don’t know about anyone else, but the invasion of Georgia by Russia is really scary. It’s too similar to the invasions of its neighbors when the Soviet Union was still forming. The difference this time is instead of being because of the Communism ideology, this time it seems to be because of [...]
